Code-39 barcode can encode uppercase letters A - Z, digits 0 - 9,
special characters: -, ., space, $, /, +, %.
In extended mode Code-39 can encode all ASCII characters (0 to 127).
Barcode readers have options to enable or disable extended mode in Code-39.
It can contain checksum (mod 43).

All characters outside the allowed range will be ignored.
The generator can create from 1 to 20 barcodes at once, each code can contain up to 24 characters.
